Research work

1)Copy number variation: Discovering the roles of copy number variations in complex diseases. 2) Genetics of complex diseases: Hunting for causal and susceptible genes underlining complex diseases by population-based and family-based strategies; identification of the functional effect of the genetic variants interested using molecular biology methods and animal models. 3) Epigenetics of complex diseases: Identification of DNA methylation changes in complex disease and dynamic DNA methylation changes over time. 4) Pharmacogeomics: To study how an individual's genetic inheritance affects the individual body's response to drugs, and further invention of more powerful medicines or new administration method, which will provide theoretic foundation to the individual therapy.
