Profile

Yueming Wang received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University, P.R. China, in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was a visitor at Microsoft Research Asia. From 2008 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was an associate professor from 2010 to 2016 in the Qiushi Academy for Advanced Studies (QAAS), Zhejiang University, P.R. China. He is now a professor in QAAS. When as a Ph.D. student, his research interest was Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. Recently, his research interests are in the area of brain-machine interfaces and artificial intelligence.

He has published more than 40 papers in the prestigious journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI), IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems (TNNLS), IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP), Journal of Neural Engineering, and IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine (CIM). He has gotten the funding support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2), the National 863 Program of China (1), Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (Key Program, 1), and the Ph.D. Programs Foundation of Ministry of Education of China (1).
