Dr Guang Li is a professor at the Department of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University. He graduated with B.Eng and M.Eng Degrees in Biomedical Engineering & Instrumentation from Zhejiang University in 1987 and 1991, respectively. He received a PhD degree from the Centre for Biological and Medical Systems at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, UK in 1998. Between 1998 and 2000, Dr Guang Li held the post of a post-doc engineer in the University of Glasgow and Moor Instruments Co Ltd., UK. He was appointed as professor of Zhejiang University in 2000. He is the vice chairman of IET Shanghai Branch and the vice director of the Working Group of Neuroinformatics of China.  

Prof. Li has published over 120 papers and conference presentations in the field of biosensors, medical instruments and neuroinformatics, and has 20 years experience in sensors and 7 years experience in neuroinformatics. His academic activities have led to interdisciplinary research projects, some of which have resulted in novel clinical instruments and artificial perception.
